DR. SHINDE
Dentist / Clinical Director
Dr. Shinde was born in Brantford, Ontario, and shortly thereafter moved to Stratford, where he was raised. He attended Western University, where he received his Honors Bachelor of Science in Physiology, Master of Science in Epidemiology, and Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Throughout his time in dentistry, Dr. Shinde has continued to pursue his passion for education by acquiring knowledge in various aspects of dentistry, including Invisalign, CEREC Crowns (one-appointment crowns), Implantology, Cosmetic dentistry, and laser therapy. He is committed to learning through continuing education.
While living in Stratford, Dr. Shinde gained an appreciation for the culture of theatre and arts, which he continues to enjoy when not working. He also participates in various sports in his spare time, including hockey, basketball, and volleyball.
Dr. Sharma
Dentist
Dr. Sharma completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in India before moving to Canada. She completed her DDS at The Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto with honors. Dr. Sharma has had a strong passion for dentistry since her teenage years and has actively engaged in opportunities to grow in both private and community dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in taking a comprehensive approach to oral care.
Outside of work, Dr. Sharma enjoys experimenting with cooking interesting recipes, exploring new neighborhoods in the city, and spending time with her family.

Angie graduated from Fanshawe College as a Certified Dental Assistant in 1995 [show_more more=”Show More” less=”Less”]and then went on to complete a certified Treatment Co-ordinating course in 2001. After completing this course she decided to move into management, where her passion continually evolves.
Angie is instrumental at helping our dental clinic and office be efficient and ensuring patients have the best experience when they visit us. She is full of energy and is always willing to go the extra mile for our staff and our patients!
Angie wants you to know that:

Anywhere with mountains is where Vaishali wants to be. She also hopes to visit Italy one day. Otherwise, you can probably find her at home making one of the world’s most delicious meals!

She comes with years of experience as a dental receptionist and dental assistant, willing and able to help out in any area of the clinic.
Alicia says that Balsam Dental is the most welcoming dental office she has ever worked at. It’s easy to see how much she loves what she does. Interacting with people coming into the office is her favourite part of her job. Seeing patients achieve a beautiful smile, a healthy smile, is the most rewarding part of her job.
Alicia lives here in Toronto with her boyfriend, with the rest of her family nearby. Outside of the office she might be shopping for the perfect present for someone, or relaxing to some R&B music.
